How do I update azure SQL baseline to remove certain db owners?

All we need is an easy explanation of the problem, so here it is.

I need to update the baseline to reflect only the approved list of owners and remove others.
Can anyone tell me how do I do that?

How to solve :

I know you bored from this bug, So we are here to help you! Take a deep breath and look at the explanation of your problem. We have many solutions to this problem, But we recommend you to use the first method because it is tested & true method that will 100% work for you.

Method 1

You can remove members from a role using the sp_droprolemember stored procedure. Similarly, the stored procedure sp_addrolemember can add additional users to the role.

Here is a statement to remove members from the db_owner role.

EXEC sp_droprolemember [db_owner],[<User Name here>]

Method 2

Another easier way to do this is by clicking on ‘Approve as a baseline’ after adding or removing the database permissions of the users.

Note: Use and implement method 1 because this method fully tested our system.
Thank you 🙂
